Policies

Facility use policies

These guidelines keep the space safe, respectful, and welcoming for every group we host. They are summarized here and stated in full in the facility-use agreement you'll sign before your event.

Values

Our alcohol-free, family-friendly standard

This is a church campus, and our facilities are shared with our congregation and community ministries. We host celebrations that families of every generation can enjoy together.

We welcome guests of all backgrounds and beliefs. In return, we ask that events reflect the standards of the property.

Not permitted on the property

  • Alcohol — served, sold, or brought onto the property
  • Smoking and vaping anywhere on the grounds
  • Marijuana and illegal drugs
  • Gambling of any kind, including raffles structured as games of chance
  • Sexually explicit entertainment, performances, or content
  • Fireworks, open flames outside enclosed candles, and fog machines
  • Any activity inconsistent with the policies and values of the church

Booking

Approval, agreement, deposit, insurance

Approval & availability

All requests are reviewed by church leadership. Availability is inquiry-based, and no date is reserved until you receive written confirmation.

Saturday (Sabbath) worship and ministry commitments take priority in our calendar.

Agreement & payment

A signed facility-use agreement and a refundable security deposit are required, along with payment according to the schedule in your agreement.

Cancellation and rescheduling terms are stated in the agreement.

Insurance

Event liability insurance may be required depending on the event type, size, and activities. We'll tell you what applies to your event during the quote process.

We do not provide legal, tax, or insurance advice — please consult your own advisor or insurer.

Supervision & conduct

The renter is responsible for the conduct of guests and vendors, for supervising minors at all times, and for keeping to the reserved areas and hours.

Events may be ended early for violations of these policies.

Day of

Setup, decorating, catering, and cleanup

Setup & access

Access begins and ends at the times in your agreement; setup, decorating, and teardown must happen inside your block. Additional hours are available at $150–$200 per hour.

Decorating

Free-standing decor only. No nails, screws, tape, staples, or adhesives on walls, floors, pews, or fixtures. Candles must be fully enclosed. Nothing may block exits.

Catering & cleanup

Outside caterers are welcome; kitchen access is arranged in advance. Renters remove decor, gifts, and personal property; a cleaning fee of $200–$300 covers standard cleaning.

Music & sound

Music and program content should be appropriate for a house of worship. Volume levels and end times respect our neighbors and local ordinances.

Safety & occupancy

Posted occupancy limits are strictly observed. Exits, hallways, and fire equipment must remain clear at all times.

Final occupancy limits subject to official confirmation.

Damage & liability

Damage to the facility, furnishings, or equipment is the renter's responsibility and may be deducted from the security deposit as described in the agreement.

A note on scheduling: we are a Seventh-day Adventist congregation. Saturday (Sabbath) worship and ministry commitments take priority, and all dates — including Saturdays — are reviewed case by case. Please treat every date as inquiry-based until confirmed in writing.
